Hi, I’m Jade Goodwin: MLIS student, part-time library worker, and someone who knows what it feels like to be left out of the narrative.

I started Shelf Care Daily out of frustration, honestly. My library didn’t prioritize teens. Programs were overlooked. Resources were thin. It felt like no one believed teens were worth showing up for, and that didn’t sit right with me.

This space is for anyone who's ever felt forgotten, out of place, or like they had to shrink themselves to fit in.

I create from experience. I know what burnout, overwhelm, and loneliness feel like. I also know the magic that stories, journaling, and community can bring. This is where those things meet.
